Art and culture:
The culture of Mexico reflects its reality as a melting pot of cultures and in its natural relief. Mexicans influence cultural elements of the most diverse types: be they modern, old and recycled.
The way of life in Mexico includes many aspects of the pre-Hispanic peoples of the colonial period. Some important aspects of their culture are values, family unity, respect, hard work and community solidarity.
Mexican art consists of a variety of visual arts that have been developed in the geographical area, now known as Mexico. The development of these arts has followed the history of Mexico, with the Mesoamerican era, the period after the independence of Mexico and other events.
Mesoamerican art was produced in the area that covers much of what is now central and southern Mexico, during a period of 300 years before the conquest of Mexico that ranged from 1500 BC to 1500 AD.
